SLIPPAGE Residency Project: Experimental Black Art and Social Justice

Tristan Parks Know Harlem

SLIPPAGE affiliates are invited to enjoy two-week residencies at the laboratory.  Resident affiliates are granted housing for up to four collaborators, local transportation, all food and supplies, and a small creation honorarium.  Access to the SLIPPAGE@Duke lab is granted 24/7 during the residency, along with technical support and creative consultation by SLIPPAGE affiliates as requested.  Affiliates may choose to share work-in-progress during the residency, but needn’t do so.  In the 2018-2019 season, six artists enjoyed residencies with SLIPPAGE.
