Based in Durham, North Carolina, Monét Noelle Marshall is an artist, director, playwright, choreographer and art consultant whose latest work, The Buy It Call It Trilogy, explores black art, black lives, and the valuations of these artworks and lives. She serves as the Founding Artistic Director of MOJOAA Performing Arts Company, a producer of new works by African- American playwrights.
As part of her SLIPPAGE@Duke Residency, Marshall continued development on her Buy It Call It trilogy with Buy My Body and Call It a Ticket (Part 2) and Buy My Art and Call It Holy (Part 3).
