the GLITCH of dance praxis  

The Cornell Department of Performing and Media Arts hosted Glitch Dance with Dr. Thomas DeFrantz on Sunday, April 12, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, in the Ballet Studio (Room 320), Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts. The event gathered CNY Humanities Working Group MP28: Evolving Practices in Dance & Embodiment to a special session on the Cornell campus. The event was co-sponsored by the Central New York Humanities Corridor, and hosted by Danielle Russo, Assistant Professor of the Practice and the Department of Performing and Media Arts at Cornell University.

Students also participated in Improvising the Interface: Screen as Site and Stage,  and a special workshop on manifesto writing.
