BPT 2013 met at the University of Texas at Austin 12-14, April. The event was co-sponsored with The Warfield Center for African and African American Studies, the Performance as Public Practice Graduate Program in the Department of Theatre and Dance, The Center for Women’s and Gender Studies, and the Lozano Long Institute for Latin American Studies. Omi Osun Joni L. Jones hosted the event, and convened with Thomas F. DeFrantz. Nicole Martin provided expert logistical arrangements.
